2023 Honda Accord Sedan
If you're looking for a reliable commuter vehicle or a ride for your small family, the 2023 Honda Accord Sedan may be right for you. Below, you can check out this vehicle in terms of its trims, engine, performance, interior, and safety features so you can begin an informed buying journey.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Honda Accord Sedan is an attractive midsize vehicle with beautiful edges that give it a strong on-road personality. You can make this vehicle your own by choosing from statement-making hues like Lunar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic, and Meteorite Gray Metallic.
This vehicle has six different trim levels, all of which have unique characteristics that make them stand out from the rest. To start, the LX base trim level has 17-inch alloy wheels and full LED headlights. The EX comes onto the scene with the introduction of heated side mirrors. Most hybrid models besides the EX-L Hybrid have 19-inch wheels. The Sport-L Hybrid introduces flashy features like a gloss-black decklid spoiler.
Engine (Power)
Whether you get a standard or hybrid model, you can still access engines with relatively high power for the vehicles' size. The LX and EX share a powerful turbocharged engine that produces 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. When you advance into the hybrid models, you get access to a hybrid powertrain that offers up to 204 horsepower.
Performance
The LX and EX allow for effortless transition between gears thanks to their inclusion of a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The four hybrid trim levels follow suit closely with their inclusion of an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT) with deceleration selectors.
All models have a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, both of which contribute to more comfortable handling. The four hybrid models have a four-mode drive system so you can choose the mode for your current preferences and a motion management system to make turning corners easier.
Interior
The bottom three trim levels come with cloth seats, while the top three trim levels come with leather-trimmed seats. Depending on which trim level you get, you can have access to a four-speaker or eight-speaker audio system. The highest trim level, which is the Touring Hybrid, comes with a Bose premium sound system for a heightened listening experience.
Another notable interior feature of the 2023 Honda Accord Sedan is the seating arrangement in the back. For the LX trim level, you get a fold-down rear seatback. For all other trim levels, you get a 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback, which makes it so you can still seat some passengers in the backseat and make room for any extra cargo that you want to bring aboard.
Safety Features
Safety isn't something you have to worry about with the 2023 Honda Accord Sedan. The base model comes with various features to give you peace of mind while you're on the road, including a road departure mitigation system, a lane-keeping assist system with traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow.
Every trim level besides the LX comes with the option of installing a blind-spot information system, which can give you more confidence when merging lanes on busy roads. Parking sensors are also available with the EX-L Hybrid and the Touring Hybrid.
